People’s Postcode Lottery is a not-for-commercial-gain organisation that runs a subscription based lottery in the UK and Europe. Using funds raised from these lotteries, it supports charitable and social initiatives worldwide.
Stckmn has been providing external creative support for the PPL's seasonal campaigns over the past 4 years. Working closely with the internal creative team we've produced a number of campaign visuals and photographic assets to be used across digital and print media.
The festive campaign involved the creation of winter scenes using a combination of stock imagery and PPL provided photography. Each scene was formed by digitally combining the cut-out imagery to produce a set of hyper-realistic visuals. For the 30K-a-day campaign a hill-top scene overlooking a snow covered village with the ambassadors and camper van was produced. For the announcement of the £220 million in prizes for 2022 a festive street scene with winners and PPL ambassadors was created and matched to the TV spot airing through December.
The scenes are used across a variety of collateral, from printed mailers, to social media headers, each with differing dimensions and layouts. The challenge was to produce assets that would work as stand-alone items as well as within the combined scenes, ensuring each element could be used independently. The handover files contained live layers to give the in-house team the ability to reposition, hide or scale elements to suit their desired use, even the van number plate could be retyped to display the campaign theme.
